Bowling Birthday Party

I am a huge fan of having someone else to the “dirty” work when it comes to birthday parties. This means having it somewhere other than my house. Yes it costs extra, but not having the headache to do EVERYTHING for a party and not enjoying it with your family/child/friends whoever. Can you really put a price tag on that?

We just celebrated my youngest daughter’s 2nd birthday. We settled on going to FatCats for bowling. With the party package we chose all I needed to bring was cake or cupcakes. The provided decorations, pizza, drinks and tableware. Awesome.

So I decided to make cupcakes. I had her pick out the type of cake mix and color of frosting. Like I’ve said before I’m not a Pinterest Mom so they were store bought.

Now this next part is going to contradict the whole “I’m not a Pinterest Mom” thing. I had an idea for this cute set up of cupcakes with bowling pins on top and one with a bowling ball. Well instead of spending time to find some to buy I decided to make my own. Yup. I made cupcake toppers and it really wasn’t too hard.

All I had to do was make cupcakes and then I got to enjoy the party. Easy Peasy.
