Saturday was the Parade and Fair for South Weber Days. Since I grew up in South Weber it is something I look forward to. This was the first South Weber Days in a few years that I was able to go to and enjoy, and it was even more fun having the girls enjoy it with me.
This was the girl’s second parade so far this year and they did pretty well. They got bored picking up candy pretty fast.
Here is a video with the highlights from the parade. I recorded the whole thing, but it ended up being a hot mess. So I grabbed the cutest, funniest, best parts and put them into their own video. Plus the parade was so long that it would have been too long of a video.
After the parade we went to have ice cream with my grandma since the parade was so long we weren’t able to make it out there for lunch like we usually do.
After that Tim, my husband got off work and we went down to the South Weber Days Fair to have dinner and walk around a little bit. My oldest got “glitter eyes” in purple, and I got my first ever henna tattoo. Then the girls went and bounced around in the bouncy house for at least a half an hour. It was a long day and I was so happy to finally be home and go to bed. I love going to fairs and parades, but its always so tiring. Especially taking kids.
What is your favorite part of parades and fairs?
